The Swap panel is the single entry point for moving value across OmniHood. Whether you're bridging USDC from Ethereum to Solana, converting SOL to BNB, or buying an EVM token from a Solana wallet — it's all one flow.
What it does
- Routes automatically. OmniHood uses Relay to cross chains and Jupiter for the best fill on Solana. You never pick a route.
- Handles both wallets. Every OmniHood session carries one EVM + one Solana wallet — the swap uses whichever side is needed and prompts a single signature.
- Zero-decision UX. Pick "pay" token, pick "receive" token — that's it. Amounts, gas, and routing are computed for you.
Doing a swap
Open the Swap page and connect
Go to omnihood.fun/swap. First time in, you'll see the connect button in the top-right. Email or Google works too — an embedded wallet is created invisibly.
Pick what you pay
Click the "pay" token to open the picker. Search by name, paste a contract address, or scroll through chains. Balances load automatically.
Pick what you receive
Same picker for the "receive" side. Any chain, any token — including tokens on the same chain you're paying from.
Type the amount
A live quote appears after ~1.5s. It shows exactly what you'll receive, the fee, and the route. If the price moves too much before you confirm, the quote refreshes automatically.
Approve → sign → done
ERC-20 tokens need a one-time approval on the pay side (the app handles it). After the swap signature, funds arrive at the destination — typically 10–30 seconds for same-chain, 1–3 minutes for cross-chain.

Fees
- Flat swap fee — a small percentage of the pay amount, published live in the quote before you confirm. Part of every fee flows into an on-chain OMHD buyback.
- Network gas on the paying chain. On Solana this is a few cents; on Ethereum L1 it varies.
- Bridge cost (only for cross-chain) is baked into the quote — no separate line item.

Common questions
"I don't have gas on the destination chain — will the swap fail?" No. If you don't hold native gas on the receiving chain, OmniHood delivers a tiny amount of that chain's native alongside the swap so the funds are usable immediately.
"Can I swap into a token I hold zero of today?" Yes. OmniHood creates the destination token account automatically when the swap settles (on Solana this is the ATA; on EVM chains it's free).
"What happens if the price moves during a cross-chain swap?" The quote you signed locks in a minimum output. If the market moves against you past that limit, the swap reverts on-chain and your paid tokens return to your wallet. You never receive less than the number the quote showed.
"How does OmniHood pick the route?" Relay's router evaluates every liquidity venue it knows about (DEXes, bridges, aggregators) and returns the cheapest path that clears within a few seconds. For Solana-side fills, Jupiter's route optimizer runs in parallel. You always get the cheaper of the two.
