Virtual Visa cards
Spend your crypto anywhere Visa is accepted. Issued in seconds, funded by any token from any chain, with cashback in OMHD.
The OmniHood card is a virtual Visa you create in seconds, fund with any token from any chain, and use at any merchant that accepts Visa online — or via Apple Pay / Google Pay in stores.
Cards are virtual (no plastic). Use them for online payments, subscriptions, and add them to Apple Pay / Google Pay for tap-to-pay in stores.
What you get
- Instant issuance — a fresh Visa PAN, CVV, and expiry within seconds of tapping create.
- Any-token top-up — deposit USDC, ETH, SOL, or any supported token; it settles as spendable USD on the card.
- Cashback in OMHD — every purchase earns a share back in OMHD, delivered to your linked EVM wallet automatically.
- Freeze / unfreeze instantly from the dashboard.
Creating your first card
Open the Cards page and connect
Go to omnihood.fun/cards. Same wallet auth as the rest of the app — if you signed in with email, an EVM wallet is created for you invisibly.
Pay the create fee (~$5)
Cards need a one-time creation fee of about $5, paid in any token you already hold. The payment is a single-signature swap into OMHD, half of which is burned — see The OMHD token. You don't need OMHD to create a card — any token works.
Fund the card
Once created, tap Deposit. Deposit USDC directly on Solana or Base for instant credit, or deposit any token from any chain and OmniHood swaps it to USDC under the hood.
Reveal and use
Tap Reveal to see the full PAN, CVV, and expiry. Copy them into any online checkout, or add the card to Apple Pay / Google Pay for tap-to-pay in stores.
Cashback
Every purchase you make with the card earns cashback in OMHD, sent automatically to your linked EVM wallet within a few minutes of the transaction settling.
- Rate: 1.5% of the spend, in OMHD at the current market price
- Delivery: on-chain to your linked EVM address, no claim step
- Visible in the "Cashback" tab of the card dashboard
Solana-only users need to link an embedded EVM wallet on the Cards page (a one-tap flow) to receive cashback — see Connecting a wallet.
Depositing
Direct USDC deposit
Paste USDC on Solana or Base into the deposit panel. It credits the card in seconds.
Any-token deposit
Deposit any supported token from any chain — OmniHood swaps to USDC under the hood in a single signature and credits your card.
Managing the card
- Freeze / unfreeze instantly from the dashboard — takes effect immediately.
- Balances never expire. If you stop using a card, the USD stays on it until you spend it.
- Standard Visa transaction limits apply (a few thousand USD per transaction by default). Contact support for higher limits.
- Refunds land back on the card as USD balance, typically within 1–3 business days depending on the merchant.
Security
- PAN and CVV never touch OmniHood servers. They live only at the card issuer and are fetched directly to your browser on Reveal.
- Per-wallet ledger. All card deposits pool into one issuer account, but per-wallet balances live in a separate on-chain-anchored ledger — a compromise of one wallet's session can never spend another wallet's funds.
- Freeze first, ask questions later. If you suspect fraud, freeze from the dashboard immediately — takes effect in seconds and stops all authorizations network-wide.
Common questions
"Is there a monthly fee?" No. The $5 create fee is one-time. There are no maintenance, currency conversion, or top-up fees.
"Can I withdraw the card balance back to crypto?" Currently withdrawals are one-way (crypto → card → spent as fiat). Full withdrawal support is on the roadmap.
"What's the daily / monthly limit?" Default limits are a few thousand USD per transaction and a comparable daily cap. Contact support for higher limits — we can raise them with a light KYC.
"Why do I need to stake OMHD to create a card?" You don't need to hold OMHD, but a small stake (more here) can unlock issuance in some configurations. It's toggleable and off in the default config.
